Legal workplaces can be demanding without being harmful. This workshop series will explore the connection between workplace culture, psychological safety, and well-being, helping participants recognize and address bullying and toxic behaviours while building healthier, more respectful legal environments.

Jessica is an employment lawyer, workplace investigator and facilitator of respectful workplace training. Jessica leads Forte Workplace Law's investigations practice group as well as the firm's focus on wellness. With years of experience as an investigator, Jessica has conducted workplace investigations involving bullying and harassment and sexual harassment, along with environmental scans and workplace assessments. Jessica assists both employers and employees with all aspects of workplace law, including human rights issues. Jessica also leads the firm's respectful workplace training called StandUP Teams which focuses on bystander training. When she is not working, Jessica enjoys time outside in Steveston, where she lives with her husband and three children. She loves traveling all over B.C. with her family, especially over to Tofino and all parts of Vancouver Island. She is also grateful to give back to the community as a board member of the Pacific Immigration Resource Society (PIRS) which helps newcomers to Canada. She is on the steering committee for Antisemitism Legal Helpline and previously served for many years on the Board of Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver.

Who should attend? All members of the legal community (lawyers, legal support staff, articled students, law students, judges, judicial staff) are welcome.
